The People Behind It
The Haveli is owned by the Rathore family, descendants of Rajput nobility who’ve called this haveli home for seven generations. After years of the property lying unused, siblings Aarav and Meera Rathore decided to restore it in 2018, working with local artisans to preserve every fresco, jharokha, and archway. They wanted to share their family’s heritage while keeping it alive.

- Why It Made the List
“Staying at The Haveli isn’t just about a room — it’s about stepping into living history. I’ve stayed here twice, and both times I felt like a guest in someone’s ancestral home rather than a hotel. The warmth of the Rathore family, the stories behind every artifact, and those rooftop sunsets make this one of Rajasthan’s best-kept secrets.”
