The People Behind It

The Haveli is owned by the Rathore family, descendants of Rajput nobility who’ve called this haveli home for seven generations. After years of the property lying unused, siblings Aarav and Meera Rathore decided to restore it in 2018, working with local artisans to preserve every fresco, jharokha, and archway. They wanted to share their family’s heritage while keeping it alive.

“I went to Coconut Lagoon expecting a standard backwater resort and left feeling like I’d lived a different life for three days. No cars, no WiFi stress, just the sound of water and rustling palms. The staff knows your name by day two, the food is soul-warming, and you genuinely forget what day it is. If you need to unplug and reset, this is where you go.”
